A coach is defined as someone who works with an individual or a group to help them develop specific skills, achieve goals, or improve performance. This is often in a structured way with a focus on personal or professional development. Coaches tend to be more involved in the process, helping set clear goals and action plans as you go along.
A guide, on the other hand, is typically someone who provides general direction or insight, often in a more advisory or informational role. Guides offer expertise or knowledge to inspire individual transformation. For example, a guide will often take a more passive role compared to a coach, empowering you to develop a more worldly awareness to build confidence in the decisions you make. Guides help individuals find their way but don’t typically push for specific outcomes, as that is left up to you to determine.
